i'm a witch pop artist with a taste for the unorthodox and avant-garde. for the past four years, i've been based in brooklyn, but i'm originally from austin, tx, where I first began writing, producing, and recording music.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC?
i'm heavily influenced by pop music and witch house (hence the term "witch pop"). but at the same time, i don't think i really fit into one genre. i think the whole genre thing is kind of dead anyway. if anything, witch pop is an aesthetic, and my music lives somewhere in that gray area where saccharine meets morbid.
WHAT KIND OF
EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
while i used to be a big logic fan, i'm now an avid ableton user (although i still use logic for recording vocals... don't ask me why, idk). i have a push 2 that i control ableton live with both in my home studio and for live performances where i incorporate live-looping of my vocals and other assorted instruments. i primarily use my behringer deepmind 12 analogue polyphonic synthesizer for creating those hauntingly nostalgic sounds i'm obsessed with. i'm also a big fan of granular synthesis.
